Though it says “About Us,” there really isn’t an “Us”—it’s just me here at Nom Nom Chiffon, wearing all the hats!

Hi there, I’m Ki. I bake every cake and bite-sized treat myself — it's a one-woman operation. If I take a little while to reply, I’m probably elbow-deep in batter or frosting.

My Journey

Baking has always brought me joy. I used to love trying out new recipes and decorating cakes... but life got busy with work, and baking slowly took a backseat.

After I became a stay-at-home mum, I poured all my energy into raising my kids. It was fulfilling in many ways, but at some point, I started feeling a little lost, like I had lost touch with a part of myself. 🙁

Then one day, I saw a video of a Japanese lady baking chiffon cakes from her garage. Something about it struck a chord in me. I thought, maybe I could do that too. 💡

So I started small... Late at night, while my kids were asleep, I went back to my mixing bowls and oven. I tested recipe after recipe, learned from failed bakes, and slowly found my rhythm.

Baking made my heart sing again! ✨

And.... that's how Nom Nom Chiffon was born. From a quiet place of yearning to grow, create and reconnect with myself.
